Google Introduced Plan To Reform Power Grid
Having captured the market for Web research by first simplifying how it is done and then attaining gross revenue of related ad more competent, Google is now backing green technology and applying its brand power to force group for policy change. Google presented a plan recently to wean the United States off the burning of coal and oil for power by 2030 and to reduce oil use for cars by 40 percent. Such initiative could toll trillions of dollars, but Google trusts they could finally save money.
The annual cost of the Google energy project would still be less than the $700 billion being regarded to bail out the financial industry.
Through its charitable arm, Google.org, the company is backing start-ups designing curve, solar and geothermal technologies, which it hopes will finally be cheaper than coal. Google invested $45 million in such parties this year.
